Der Tweet des SPD-Politikers Stegner steht stellvertretend für eine Haltung, die in Westeuropa über Jahrzehnte weit verbreitet war und die Wladimir Putin ermutigt hat.
Ich habe mich in einem Interview und (ausführlicher) in einem Podcast über Wladimir Putin und zu einem aus meiner Sicht sinnvollen Umgang mit ihm geäußert. Dafür habe ich viel Zustimmung erhalten. Aber es gab auch etliche negative Reaktionen:
